Frequently Asked Questions
General
Language
As general rule, all the courses are presented in English but depending on the country and the coaches language skills, we may offer courses presented in the local language. Please check under the information of the specific seminar for the course language and if a translator will be present.
Registration
Normally the confirmation email is automatically sent once the order and the corresponding payment are completed.
If by chance that didn’t happen, please try to do the following actions:
- Check your email’s spam inbox to see if the email is there;
- Confirm if you accidentally deleted the confirmation email.
If you still aren’t able to find your confirmation email, then there is the likelihood of you having entered or misspelled you email address during the registration process.
payments
It depends on the form of payment you elected to pay for the registration. Some banking/financial institutions charge certain fees for this type of purchases. You should also take into account that all our services are charged in US Dollars, therefore, if you are using other type of currency to pay for these, you might be charged with currency exchange fees and subject to the exchange rate.
For now, installment payments/deposits, are only available for a few courses, but in time they will become available for every course in our offering.
Discounts
Since our discount is reserved only for those first responders who are either on active duty or retired (after 20+ years of service), families/relatives aren’t eligible.
Unless retired (after 20+ years of service), veterans aren’t eligible.
No. The MIL/FIRE/LEO discount is only available for our courses and seminars. The MBS programming doesn’t have any discounts.

Staff
At this time, we are not actively recruiting new coaches. Burgener Strength is the authority in Weightlifting education and experience worldwide so we hold our coaches and staff to the highest standards. With that said, if you feel that your skills and presence can enhance the Burgener Strength Team, feel free to reach out and let us know what you can bring to the table.
Hosting
Pre-requisites
You should seek medical advice if you are injured and have the clearance from your doctor in order to be able to lift weights with us.
Of course you can! Your experience won’t certainly be diminished if you are somehow unable to perform physically, since our courses are mostly about teaching people how to teach people to lift. Although we will have several practice sessions during our Burgener Strength Weightlifting Level 1 and Training Camp seminars, the biggest portion, however, is reserved for lectures, and you will be more than able to participate during those practice sessions with your input and questions.
Maxing out or going heavy is not a requirement in any of our courses or seminars but we’ll always give the opportunity to do so.
No. We don’t have set prerequisites to attend any of our courses but we highly recommend that you start your coaching and/or athletic journey with our Weightlifting L1 Course.
Certificates
No. There are no exams or written tests on our Burgener Strength Weightlifting Level 1 and Training Camp seminars. The only requirement for you to be granted is to attend the entire duration of the designated course/seminar.
No. All of our certificates are issued electronically in .pdf format.
As of now, we don’t have that feature, if it becomes available in the future we will announce it.
The certificate issued is a certificate of attendance.
Since you won’t be subject to an exam at the end of our courses, the certificate issued is a certificate of attendance and therefore you won’t be able to title yourself as a Burgener Strength certified coach. Nevertheless you will be able to use your certificate to apply for CEU’s and also to mention that training on your resume.
No. Our courses don’t grant a certification, therefore, those who attended aren’t required to reattend. Nevertheless, since we are constantly updating and improving our courses, people might benefit from retaking the courses, not only to consolidate knowledge but also to add more “tools to their toolkit”, and the best thing is that they area allowed a 50% discount if they choose to retake one of the courses they previously attended.
Yes, you will be given a certificate after attending one of our courses/seminars.
Study Material
Upon registration a confirmation email will be send containing a download link with the studying material, however, in a few selected courses it will be sent by email, alongside with other pertinent instructions, once the seminar is confirmed, which can happen until 14 days prior to the designated course, in .
Yes, we will provide some studying material before the courses, however, you aren’t required to study although your experience might benefit from doing it.
Continuing Education Credits
If you want to use your Burgener Strength certifications in order to obtain credits for any other types of certifications, you should enquire those institutions wether they are willing to accept it or not and in which type of conditions.
- 14 CEU’s upon competition of our Weightlifting Level 1 course;
- 11 CEU’s upon completion of our Weightlifting Level 1 Online course;
